When registering entities that supply or intend to supply goods or services to KEPCO, we conduct evaluations to identify, evaluate and mitigate environmental risks. Criteria for evaluation includes safety, health and environment (EHS) management and systems, relevant training, internal regulations, plans and procedures, emergency response measures, compliance with local laws, and the incidence of environmental accidents. Sanctions, such as suspension of trading, may be imposed on entities that fail an evaluation. Only entities who are evaluated to exceed a certain standard of environmental management and planning are selected and approved by KEPCO to provide goods or services.
