KHNP is the only nuclear power plant operator in Korea. It also operates hydroelectric and pumped hydroelectric power plants. Its total installed capacity is 30,022MW - 24,650MW from 25 nuclear power plants, 607.5MW from 37 hydropower plants and 64.7MW from 46 new & renewable power plants. KHNP accounts for about 28.24% of Korea's total power generation capacity (excluding that of IPPs).

KOEN operates Samcheonpo Thermal Power Plant and Yeongheung Thermal Power Plant. Its total installed capacity is 9,278MW – 7,868MW from 12 bituminous coal-fired units, 922MW from 10 gas-fired combined cycle units and 325MW from 2 anthracite coal-fired unit.

KOMIPO operates Boryeong Thermal Power Plant, Seocheon Thermal Power Plant and other power plants. Its total installed capacity is 10,775MW - 6,106MW from 9 bituminous coal-fired units and 4,310MW from 29 gas-fired combined cycle units.

KOWEPO operates Taean Thermal Power Plant and other power plants. Its total capacity is 11,503MW – 6,100MW from 10 bituminous coal-fired units, 3,387MW from 22 gas-fired combined cycle units, and 1,400MW from four oil-fired units.

KOSPO operates Hadong Thermal Power Plant and other power plants. Its total installed capacity is 11,479MW – 6,044MW from 10 bituminous coal-fired units, 4,810MW from 10 gas-fired combined cycle units and 305MW from 3 oil-fired units.

EWP operates Dangjin Thermal Power Plant, Honam Thermal Power Plant and other power plants. Its total installed capacity is 9,563MW – 6,440MW from 12 bituminous coal-fired units, 2,972MW from 20 LNG CCPP units, and 400MW from 2 anthracite coal-fired units.
