- Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Management Policy
As the leader of electric power industry and under the spirit of respecting humanity, Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) shall actively practice the following EHS Management principles to achieve sustainable corporate growth and clean and safe society:

- First,
KEPCO shall place the highest priority on EHS Management in all its corporate activities. KEPCO shall introduce internationally recognized EHS Management systems and maintain such systems in all its business locations, and all employees shall comply with such systems;
- Second,
KEPCO shall comply with all EHS-related legislations and regulations. KEPCO shall identify and eliminate environmental risks and hazards that may occur in the course of its businesses, strive to manage its businesses in environmentally conscious manner, assesse and addresse potential safety risks that may arise during its operations, and provide healthy and safe workplaces to employees;
- Third,
KEPCO shall spread EHS Management to all stakeholders (subcontractors, business partners, etc.). KEPCO shall strengthen the EHS partnership by actively communicating with the stakeholders to encourage them to join the effort; and
fourth, KEPCO shall establish goals and detailed implementation plans to consistently strengthen its EHS Management. It shall provide EHS education and training to employees and create an environment where employees can freely communicate to share new technologies and ideas.
