Strive for ethical management

KEPCO implements a phased execution strategy whereby the business direction is set by linking the company’s vision with moral management combined with top management’s strong commitment to ethics management to ensure that it is pursued in a more strategic way. Ethical standards and guidelines serve as the basis for principles staff and employees shall observe in their daily conduct, and a department dedicated to ethical management carries out supervision, training of a code of ethics, and reporting of violations in which violators are subject to a stringent discipline. Furthermore, evaluation and compensation for all efforts and initiatives of moral management as feedback are designed to improve standard on a sustainable basis. These are all part of KEPCO’s endeavor to establish world-class ethics guidelines in preparation for a standardized global ethical management system in the future.
