Setting up a Direct Debit

  • Register with a accredited certificate at KEPCO cyber branch.
  • Contact an adviser on (☎ 123) at KEPCO customer center
  • Visit a KEPCO branch or bank to set up (you need a bill, bank account number, ID card, seal)
  • Banks available for a Direct Debit
    • General banks : banks, Korean Federation of Community Credit Cooperatives, National Credit Union Federation of Korea, post office, National Agricultural Cooperative Federation, National Fisheries Cooperatives
    • Credit card companies : Kookmin, Gwangju, Hyundai, Hana SK, Shinhan, BC, Samsung, Cheonbuk, Lotte, NH
      • Category: household customers, nighttime electricity (A) for home, customers with less than 20kW in contracted electricity
    • Stock account: uanta Securities, KB Securities, Mirae Asset, KDB Daewoo Securities, Samsung Securities, Korea Investment & Securities, Woori Investment & Securities, Hi Investment & Securities, HMC Investment & Securities, Hi Investment & Securities, HMC Investment & Securities, Kiwoom Securities, SK Securities, Hanwha Investment & Securities, Hana Daetoo Investment, Shinhan Investment Corp., Eugene Investment, Shinyoung Securities, Meritz Securities, Dong BuSecurities, Bookook Securities, Daishin Securities, NH Investment & Securities

Withdrawal

  • The amount of your bill is automatically debited from your bank account on the due date.
  • The Unpaid charges can be debited once after the due date.
       
Additional withdrawal of unpaid electric rate
  • Target customers : all customers who subscribed for automatic payment
  • Number of additional withdrawal and period : once a month, approximately ten days after regular payment date
    • Additional withdrawal date may vary by financial institutions’ non-working days and public holidays. Please check additional withdrawal date marked in the electric rate bill. Subscribe for an exception if you do not want additional withdrawal.

Note

  • Setting up a Direct Debit is not possible if you have un unpaid bill of more than three months.
  • Direct Debit can be suspended if it fails to withdraw more than three times. If the unpaid amount is paid, a Direct Debit activates automatically..
